Tsurumai Country Club (East)

Tsurumai Country Club (East) is a woodland course in Ichihara, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, forming part of a 36-hole layout shared with the West course. The terrain is largely gentle, with the East Out and West In nines running almost completely flat, while the East In and West Out nines carry a little more movement underfoot. Fairways are wide, but subtle undulations in the turf create varied lies and keep approach play honest. Water and trees are woven throughout both courses, adding strategic weight without relying on dramatic elevation. The 4th hole on the East course is a standout, where a well-placed pond demands careful club and line selection. Bunkers positioned some distance from the greens are worth noting — they catch shots that might otherwise seem safely past trouble.
