Truro Golf Club

Truro Golf Club, a semi-private course in Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada, was founded in 1903 and redesigned by Stanley Thompson, one of Canada's most celebrated golf architects. The layout stretches to 6,317 yards at par 71 across terrain that includes marshland, white sand bunkers, and water in play on 10 of the 18 holes. The club has a notable tournament history, having hosted the inaugural Maritime Amateur Championship in 1911, the 1975 Peter Jackson Championship, the Canadian Senior Championship in 1997, the Canadian Senior Match-play Championship in 2003, and the World Blind Championships. A public driving range, putting green, and chipping area are available for warm-up. The Golf Shop carries clothing and equipment for both ladies and men, and 40 power carts are available by request. Premium rental clubs are also on hand. A restaurant and pro shop complete the facilities.
