Hole 12 is widely regarded by regulars as the signature of Trumansburg Golf Course, a public 18-hole, par-72 layout in Trumansburg, New York, designed by Bob Tallman and opened in 1969. The course plays across smooth-rolling and elevated greens, with bunkers, ponds, tree lines, dog-leg holes, and out-of-bounds in play throughout the routing. Trumansburg Golf Course has a long history of hosting tournaments, including the TGC Stroke Play Championship, the Troy Whittmore Classic, the Matt McLennan Memorial Tournament, the Norm Wall Memorial Tournament, the Rick Gannon Memorial Tournament, and more than a dozen other annual events.
