TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm has hosted the Kemper Open, FBR Capital Open, Booz Allen Classic, Quicken Loans National (2017, 2018), and the 2022 Wells Fargo Championship, establishing one of the stronger tournament records among private courses in the mid-Atlantic region. The 18-hole layout in Potomac, Maryland plays to a par 70 across 6,047 to 7,139 yards. It opened in 2009 and was ranked #12 by GolfWeek Magazine among Best New Golf Courses that year, appeared on Links Magazine's Best New Golf Courses list, and is ranked No. 14 by Golf Digest among Best Courses in Maryland. Practice options include a 10,000-square-foot putting green, a short game area with bunkering, and instruction from six PGA Class A certified professionals using diagnostic technology. The 35,000-square-foot clubhouse includes the White Oak Grille, a 1,750-square-foot restaurant serving casual cuisine overlooking the 18th green with al fresco dining on the terrace.
