Torshälla Golfklubb

Torshälla Golfklubb is an 18-hole course in Södermanland County, Sweden, shaped by three distinct environments across two nines built decades apart — the back nine opened in 1961, the front nine in 1993. Holes 1–9 are laid out on open farmland where wind plays a decisive role. Fairways offer generous landing areas, and the greens appear gently sloped, but their subtle undulations can trouble even experienced putters. The back nine shifts character as it goes. Holes 10–12 carry a parkland feel before transitioning into tighter woodland holes at 13–16, where accuracy matters more than distance. The round closes at 17–18, back in parkland framed by birch trees and bunkers. Running through the entire layout is Källstabäcken, a stream that connects both nines and comes into play on seven holes. It adds both visual character and a genuine strategic element that gives the course a consistent identity throughout.
