Tori Country Club

Tori Country Club is an 18-hole hillside course in Tochigi, Japan, laid out across gently rolling terrain with largely flat fairways and generous width throughout. Water is a defining strategic element here. On the front nine, a large pond begins to the right of the 3rd green and stretches alongside the 4th par-three tee all the way to its green, then reappears on the right side of the 5th hole. The 8th par-three carries water to the right, and the 9th green also has a pond waiting on its right. The back nine keeps the pressure on, with water guarding the greens at both the 10th and 18th holes. The greens feature meaningful undulation, making putting both engaging and demanding. The course also offers attractive scenery, particularly around the many water features woven through the layout.
