Toqua Golf Club

Nominated by Golf Digest as the best new course in 1987, Toqua Golf Club is a private 18-hole layout in Tellico Village, Tennessee, that has since become one of the most-played courses in Tennessee on Hole19. The course plays from 4,200 to 7,000 yards across terrain that mixes tree-lined holes, hills and valleys, and a links-style stretch along Tellico Lake. Several holes run directly alongside the lake, adding a natural boundary that shapes shot selection throughout the round. Toqua has hosted the Tennessee Golf Association's Junior Amateur Qualifier, the Women's and Men's Senior Amateur Championships, the Four-Ball and Senior Four-Ball Championship, and the PGA Tour Nationwide Knoxville Open Qualifier. Practice facilities include a driving range, putting green, and a short-game practice area. The clubhouse restaurant, done in a sports bar motif, is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and a spacious veranda is available for post-round food and refreshments.
