Tønder Golf Klub

Tønder Golf Klub is an 18-hole course set on the meadowlands north of the road between Rørkær and Jejsing, in Tønder, southern Denmark. Two-thirds of the layout is open and fully exposed to the wind, making course management a key factor on most days. The remaining third runs through a plantation, where fairways are reasonably wide but bordered by relatively open woodland — a challenge that can particularly punish higher-handicap players. Water is the defining hazard across the course. Lakes, streams, and ditches cross the fairways in multiple places, with the heaviest concentration on the open sections. Players of all levels will need to account for water on a regular basis.
