Tokushima Country Club Tsukinomiya

Tokushima Country Club Tsukinomiya is an 18-hole hillside course in Tokushima Prefecture, Japan, built on a plateau along the Nakugawa River with extensive earthmoving that produces a relatively flat layout overall. The front nine features straightforward, linear holes where the green is visible from the tee on most par fours and fives. Fairways are generous, keeping the psychological pressure low and giving golfers room to swing freely. The back nine shifts in character, with holes designed to work with the natural terrain and demand more strategic thinking about approach angles. The 15th hole is a standout: the left side of the green is flanked by water, making it a clear example of the more demanding, nature-influenced design that defines the inward half.
