Timbergate Golf Course

Timbergate Golf Course is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Indiana and one of only four courses in the state rated a "good value" by Golf Digest — the only one south of Indianapolis. Designed by Clyde Johnston alongside Indiana native Fuzzy Zoeller, the 18-hole public course sits in Edinburgh, just off I-65 at exit 80. Zoeller shaped a complete links-style layout intended to challenge experienced players while remaining playable for higher handicappers. Each hole offers five or more bentgrass tee beds, stretching the course anywhere from 5,000 to 7,000 yards. Eleven ponds and several bunkers line the bentgrass fairways and greens, while bluegrass and fescue roughs give each hole its own character. The course is owned by the town of Edinburgh and takes its name from the area's deep history in wood crafting.
