Designed by J McAllister and opened in 1945, Thurles Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 parkland course in County Tipperary, Ireland, rated 4.6 by 60+ Hole19 golfers. The layout plays across undulating greens, past water features and natural stone bridges, and through mature timber. Access is semi-private. Practice options include two maintained putting greens at the front and rear of the clubhouse, plus a short game area between the 12th and 13th holes — traditionally known as the Orchard. Stephen Carroll offers individual and small group fitness classes tailored for golfers. The pro shop stocks current equipment and apparel. The Daniel O'Connell Bar & Restaurant provides quality dining with freshly prepared dishes using locally sourced ingredients.

kevin bustonOctober 08, 2022Fantastic course, greens were in immaculate condition for October. Tough but fair course, some lovely holes. Practice green was in great condition and decent club shop. Food was lovely in the clubhouse. Great value. 5 stars
