Thunder Hills Country Club

Thunder Hills Country Club, a private 18-hole course in Iowa, United States, was designed by Gordon Cunningham and opened in 1970. Playing to a par of 71 across yardages from 4,806 to 6,542 yards, the layout works through strategic elevation changes, bunkers, and ponds. Practice facilities include a driving range with new targets, 8,500 square feet of bent grass chipping and putting greens, and bunkers for pitch and sand shot practice. Indoor golf simulators are available from November through April. The Member Grille serves as the post-round gathering spot, offering casual food and drinks alongside large-screen TVs. A full-service bar with televisions is located in the cabana, and the Golf Shop is on site.
