The Woodlands Golf & Country Club

The Woodlands Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole championship course in South Carolina, designed by Russell Breeden and opened in 1974. Spread across 188 total acres — more than half under irrigation — the layout presents a genuine test for players at every level. The course plays 6,658 yards from the blue tees, carries a rating of 72.0, and a slope of 132. Forty-five bunkers and five water hazards are distributed throughout, keeping approach play and course management firmly in focus. Average green size runs 4,400 square feet. The Woodlands Golf & Country Club has a strong competitive history, having hosted the 2003 U.S. Amateur Qualifier, the City of Columbia Golf Tournament, the 1994 and 1995 Senior Series Tour events, and numerous South Carolina Golf Association and Carolinas Golf Association tournaments.
