The Woodlands Club

A popular round among Hole19 golfers in Maine, The Woodlands Club in Falmouth draws consistent attention as a private 18-hole layout designed by Jim and George Fazio and opened in 1988. The course plays from 4,489 to 6,856 yards, offering a wide spread of tees. It has hosted the New England Amateur 2023, Ben Hogan Tour events, a Nike Tour event, and state and regional championships. Practice facilities are substantial: a 50,000 square-foot rye/bent grass range with over 300 yards of hitting length, plus a short game area with a bunker, full-length rough, and a tightly mown fairway section. The clubhouse includes a Neapolitan wood-fired pizza oven, an outdoor patio overlooking the 18th hole, fire pits, and on-site childcare. The club received the Maine PGA Merchandiser of the Year 2020 award in the Private Club category.
