The Wilmslow Golf Club

The Wilmslow Golf Club, founded in 1889 in England, United Kingdom, is an 18-hole, par-72 private course designed by James Braid and stretching to 6,639 yards. The layout runs through woodlands, hedgerows, and grasslands, with Mobberley Brook and additional water courses crossing the ground. Ravines add elevation change, while fairway and greenside bunkers define the approach corridors throughout. Practice facilities are extensive. A 300-yard north-facing range on Foden Lane includes two covered bays, an outdoor hitting area, a Performance Center, and a short game area with a bunker. A large practice green sits on site, alongside a Putting Studio next to the clubhouse with putting specialist Dave Ames. Two short game areas are available, with a second located next to the clubhouse and 10th tee with two practice nets. The Pro Shop serves Nespresso coffee and soft drinks from 8am and sells range tokens. The Taggart Bar offers TV for sporting action alongside a main bar and club room serving local ales, craft gins, and an extensive wine list. Light catering runs daily from noon with daily specials, and the Main Lounge can seat 100 guests for a sit-down meal, with the Dining Room accommodating up to 60.
