The West Lancashire Golf Club

A private links course in England, United Kingdom, The West Lancashire Golf Club was designed by C K Cotton and opened in 1961 across a dune system marked by humps and hollows, greens set on plateaux and in dells, and stretches of rough and wilderness. The layout opens with a dogleg par-4 on hole 1, and hole 13 plays from an elevated tee with a broad view. Hole 12 is a par 3 that adds further variety across the 18-hole layout. Rated 4.9 by 70+ Hole19 golfers. Practice facilities include a driving range of approximately 300 yards with 12 bays on an artificial hitting surface, refurbished in early 2023, a large putting green to the left of the clubhouse, and a chipping green with two practice bunkers to the right.
