The Wanderers Golf Club, a parkland course in Sandton, Gauteng, South Africa, was designed by Bob Grimsdell and opened in 1939. Mature trees line the fairways across undulating terrain, with the layout stretching between 6,575 and 6,914 metres across 18 holes at par 71. Hole 10, a par-five of 533 metres, is the longest on the course. The club hosted the SA PGA Tournament from 1972 to 1995 and the Lexington PGA from 1977 to 1995. Semi-private access means the course is open to visiting golfers, and it is rated 4.3 by 200+ Hole19 golfers, making it one of the most-played courses in Gauteng on Hole19. The pro shop is affiliated to the PGA of South Africa and offers custom fitting, equipment, and rental clubs. A teaching academy on site provides tuition for juniors and seniors. The Wanderers Golf Club Restaurant serves fresh, thoughtful food with coffees and drinks.

Matthew De BarrosNovember 29, 2020Wanderers is a great golf course worth of a 4.5 star. Awesome to be playing next to the wanderers stadium. It lacks a signiture hole other than the 10th where you have the stadium on the right. Great layout, beautify fairways and greens.
