The Villages - Orange Blossom Hills Golf & Country Club in Lady Lake, Florida, is the original 18-hole championship course in The Villages, stretching 6,213 yards from the back tees. Mature trees, quaint bridges, and gently rolling hills give the course a distinctive character. Despite its modest length, accuracy off the tee is essential — many holes call for a variety of clubs, and the small greens demand precise iron play. Subtle breaks throughout make putting a consistent challenge. In 2014, the course underwent significant renovations, including all greens and bunkers, new and releveled tee boxes, an upgraded irrigation system for greater water efficiency, and additional tree and cart path work. The clubhouse facility and pool were also renovated at that time.
