The Vale Golf & Country Club (Lenches)

The Vale Golf & Country Club (Lenches) is a 9-hole course set across gently undulating terrain, offering a fair challenge for golfers of all abilities. Water hazards, strategically placed bunkers, and two dog-leg holes give the layout plenty of variety. The opening three holes are relatively open and short, easing players in before the course demands more from the 5th onwards. Measuring 5,518 yards from the back tees with a par of 35, the Lenches — named after a cluster of nearby villages — saves its best for last. The 9th hole is the standout, a par 5 with the largest of the nine lakes at The Vale running the full length of its right-hand side.
