Designed by Mike Strantz and opened in 1997, The Tradition Golf Club at Royal New Kent is an 18-hole public links course in Virginia, United States. Golf Digest named it Best New Course in the Nation in 1997, and it has since appeared on multiple national lists including No. 84 in America's 100 Golf Courses and No. 3 Best in State for Virginia. The layout stretches to 7,440 yards from the tips across a windswept, rugged landscape of open spaces, panoramic vistas, grassy knolls, tall fescue grass, and hand-stacked rock walls, with bunkers placed throughout the terrain. The Strantz Pub serves comfort food with a view, open for breakfast and lunch with dine-in or carry-out options, alongside a square-shaped bar.
