It holds the #1 ranking among 9-hole courses in Canada by SCOREGolf magazine and is listed 35th best nine-hole course in the world by Golf Magazine. The layout runs along bluffs overlooking Lake Ontario. The first hole sets the tone immediately, with play alongside cliffs hanging over the lake. Hole 3, known as Foxy Dale, is a slightly uphill par-3. The 9th green hangs near the cliffside and is considered one of the best finishing holes in Canada. The course has hosted the G7 Economic Summit. The clubhouse includes a formal Dining Room, a casual dining room, a Lower Lounge, and a restaurant with a wine list described as second to none. A new Golf Centre and Professional Shop houses four golf simulators and a bar.
