The Timbers at Troy

The Timbers at Troy is a public 18-hole course in Elkridge, Maryland, laid out across rolling hills, mature trees, and meandering streams. The opening hole sets an early test — a par 4 ranked second hardest on the front nine, with bunkers right of the fairway and woods pressing in from the left. Practice options are extensive. A two-sided Bermudagrass driving range includes synthetic mats on the near side and a bentgrass hitting area on the far side. A large putting green and a short game area are also on site. Edge Golf Performance provides small group lessons and individual instruction with PGA professionals; the program has earned a Golf Digest Best Teachers in Maryland 2026/2027 recognition and a U.S. Kids Top 50 Master Coach designation (2023). The Timbers at Troy Grill serves a wide variety of appetizers, entrees, and beverages. The course is rated 4.1 by 70+ Hole19 golfers and ranks as one of the most-played courses in Maryland on Hole19.
