Darren BurtonOctober 03, 2022£30 a round is a stretch for sure. Although it seems time/money is being used on the course, it feels like it’s in all the wrong places. Tee boxes are tired or abandoned altogether and some greens need serious attention, albeit the majority are in decent shape and run true. The course really could be an excellent set up but it feels like it plays second fiddle to the hotel and spa and is just a convenient extra to sell to their guests.

For cost and such a beautiful setting I would have expected the course to be a lot better. Some of the tee areas were in appalling condition and rough ground should be marked as GUR, I was quite disappointed toe general condition of some of the fairways.
Stephen CraigApril 25, 2022Terrible course maintenance. Greens in bad condition.

Worst course I have played at in ages. No upkeep of the course at all, same old drainage problems affected every approach shot. Greens and tees have had no maintenance either

Fairly priced memberships. People call it the swamp as there are water hazards on almost every hole. No bunkers as they were filled in a few years ago. Beautiful course but heavily altered by weather (once played and a green was completely underwater). A great course for a challenge most times and for higher handicappers like myself I’d recommend buying lots of balls before you go as you will lose them.
