Description
Rated highly by Hole19 golfers, The Royal Montreal Golf Club (Red) is a private, 18-hole parkland course in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, designed by Dick Wilson. The layout runs across gently rolling land with tree-lined fairways, small well-protected greens, and strategic bunkers. The course has hosted the Canadian Open five times (1975, 1980, 1997, 2001, and 2014) and the Presidents Cup twice (2007 and 2024). Practice facilities are shared across the club and include an extensive double-ended driving range, three practice greens designed to resemble those on the Red and Blue Courses, a short game area with a chipping green and shallow bunker, and grass tees where teaching pros meet members for lessons.
