Description
Designed by Dick Bailey and opened in 1997, The Powder Horn Golf Club is a private 27-hole course in Wyoming, United States. Bailey laid out three distinct nines across Scottish links-style terrain, woods and wetlands, and meadow and creek-side ground — giving each nine a different character. The Mountain Nine includes a small replica of the famous Swilcan Burn Bridge, a direct nod to the Old Course at St Andrews. The club earned the Facility Newcomer of the Year Award from Troon after opening. Practice options include a multi-tiered putting green, large tees, short-game areas, and lessons and clinics. The 30,000 square foot Clubhouse also houses a Golf Simulator.
