Description
The Players Club (Codrington) is an 18-hole, par-72 links course in England, United Kingdom, stretching between 6,950 and 7,106 yards. The layout incorporates bunkers, lakes, woodland, and a nature zone of rushes, ponds, and natural grassland. The course has hosted the DP World Tour Stage 1 Q School, the 2009 Europro, and the Jamega Tour Players Masters. It is rated 4.6 by 90+ Hole19 golfers and is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in England. Access is semi-private. Practice facilities include a driving range with a covered teaching and club-fitting area and grass bays to varied yardages. Four putting greens cover severe slopes, moderate contours, and a flat design, with a fourth beside the Stranahan 1st tee. A short-game area with two bunkers and varied lies is also available. The clubhouse includes a pro shop where range cards can be obtained and two indoor simulators fitted with GC3 technology.

Montague CharltonMay 22, 2025I had heard good things about the Players and was thinking to join as it’s closer than the Kendleshire. But I must say I was disappointed. It was very easy to play, I didn’t find any of it challenging and the condition wasn’t great - very dry. Kendleshire in much better condition and provides plenty of challenges.

Craig MacAugust 06, 2019Great course. I’ve scored very well here before as it’s not particularly long but you have to be straight. If not, errant shots will find trees or water. Nice club house bar overlooking the 28th too.
