The Palms Course

The Palms Course is a semi-private, 18-hole, par 72 championship layout in Florence, South Carolina, originally built over 40 years ago by Oakdale Country Club. In 2013, new owners Mickey Moss and John Jackson took over the property and undertook a significant transformation. They removed pine trees, shaped rolling hills across the layout, planted dozens of palm trees, added sand traps, and installed mini verde greens throughout the course. The course maintains lush fairways, tee boxes, and those mini verde greens to deliver a country club-style experience. The varied terrain and the work put into course conditioning make it a solid option whether you are looking to sharpen your game or enjoy a relaxed round outdoors.
