Rated highly by Hole19 golfers, The Olde Farm is a private, links-inspired 18-hole, par-71 layout in Virginia, United States, designed by Bobby Weed and opened in 2000. That year it earned Golf Digest's Best New Private Course award. The course moves across rolling farmland beneath mountain views, tracing ridgelines and crossing Sinking Creek. Hole 3, called Himalayas, is a panoramic par four played from the highest point on the property. Hole 6, Long Barn, is a one-shotter framed by a restored tobacco shed. A nine-hole par-3 course, The Orchard Course, provides a short-game option with holes ranging from 50 to 130 yards — recognized by GOLF Magazine's Top 25 Par-3 Courses in 2020. Overnight guests can stay at the Lodge and Cottages on property. The restaurant serves seasonal menus created by Executive Chef Nate Gundlach, drawing ingredients from an on-property garden and greenhouse. The bar is horseshoe-shaped, offering classic cocktails and wine selections.
