The Legacy Golf Club

The Legacy Golf Club, a public 18-hole, par-72 course in Norwalk, Iowa, opened in 2002 and was designed by Golfscapes, Inc and Jeffrey D. Brauer. It hosts the Legacy Invitational Sponsored By TaylorMade, the Legacy Junior Invitational Tournament, and 8" Cup 4-Person Scrambles, and is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Iowa. The layout features water-lined holes, undulating putting surfaces, and bunkers throughout. Hole 2 is a downhill driving hole with an approach over a five-acre lake. Hole 14, a par three, may cause hesitation in club selection with possible swirling winds. Hole 17 is a par three played over a large lake with possible swirling winds. Hole 18 plays 611 yards from the back tee and finishes at a large amphitheater-style green. A full practice facility is available on site. The clubhouse includes a dining room serving sandwiches, snacks, and drinks, and an air-conditioned banquet room seating 160 or more guests with views of multiple holes.
