The Landings at Spirit Golf Club

Hole 9 — the hardest par four and the number-one handicapped hole — sets the tone for what Roger Null designed at The Landings at Spirit Golf Club, a public links course in Chesterfield, Missouri, opened in 1999. The layout runs 18 holes from 4,379 to 6,758 yards across zoysia and bluegrass fairways with bent grass greens, bunkers, waste areas, and water hazards. A distinctive feature is the run of double greens on holes 2, 3, and 4 — the third of which carries more slope than a black diamond ski trail. Hole 5 plays to the least-hit green on the course. Practice facilities include a full-length driving range, a one-acre putting green, and a separate chipping area bordered by a large sand bunker and a deep pot bunker. PGA Professionals offer private lessons and group clinics. The Squadron Room restaurant seats up to 160 guests and serves a grill menu with beverage options; banquet facilities are also available. Rated 4.2 by Hole19 golfers, the course ranks as one of the most-played courses in Missouri on Hole19.
