The Lake Golf Course - Vale of Glamorgan is a par 72, 18-hole layout in Wales that has hosted numerous Wales and West PGA professional championships. A 20-acre lake dominates the course, with water coming into play on 12 of its 18 holes. The 8th hole looks down over the largest heronry in Wales, while the 12th — known as The Island Green — is ranked among the top golf holes in the UK. Rated 4.5 by Hole19 golfers, it is one of the most-played courses in Wales on Hole19.

Winter tees full of stones and debris, fairways plugging temporary greens not really able to putt , some members walking into fairways and dropping to just play where ever they liked would be 4 - 5 star in summer conditions
