The Hamptons Golf Club

The Hamptons Golf Club is a members-only course in Calgary, Alberta, and a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Alberta. Founded in the 1990s, it plays 6,869 yards across 18 holes of well-maintained fairways and greens. The layout weaves through natural terrain, making use of significant elevation changes and navigating a residential subdivision. Large lakes and sweeping valley viewpoints come into play throughout the round, demanding a full range of shots. The design team's primary challenge was managing the rolling topography while routing through the community — a balance that gives the course both variety and definition. The surrounding homes were incorporated deliberately, lending structure and dimension to the layout rather than detracting from it. Developer Tirion Properties Ltd. completed the course and clubhouse before accepting a single member, allowing staff to focus entirely on member experience from day one.
