Poorly maintained course - couldn’t believe how dry the ground was, it’s been raining almost all year and the greens were cracked open like there’s been a drought. Won’t be playing again, especially at £25 per round. Could be a stunning course with amazing views and good holes but just a shame

My closest course and bitterly disappointed. As a beginner I expect to lose balls, but not when I actually hit the fairway.. Concord is not too far away and is head and shoulders above this course currently and for the same price. It has potential and hopefully can be turned around but it needs a lot of work as it’s very poorly maintained currently

Absolutely terribly kept course. Been a couple of times and tried to give benefit of doubt if it was a one off or once was autumn winter time so there’s gonna be a lot of leaves so might lose your ball. But there’s been too many times I’ve hit a clean shot that just rolls into the edge of the rough and the “rough” is so deep and unkept that it’s costing me so much possibly an extra £20-30 in balls lost. Really unfair on my score and mindset too that I’m having to drop a ball due to poor maintenance. Won’t be going back.

Beautiful course with many varied and challenging holes. Rough is punishing so finding fairways is vital for a good score!

Lovely people who run the setup. A challenging course due to uphill, downhill and sideways sloping fairways. Great views over Sheffield and the Peak District. The main thing that let's this course down is the long rough & semi rough allowed to grow into the fairways. This doesn't make for an attractive golf course and is just too costly due to ball loss for the higher handicap player.

Greens like a moon landing, fairways very boggy, and fairways long. Tees bare.

My local, been a member for about 12 months and played on and off before for years. Challenging enough for golfers of my level. Staff really great.
