The Golf Club at Lansdowne (Norman) is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course in Virginia, designed by Greg Norman and managed by Troon Golf. Stretching 7,332 yards along the Potomac River, the layout winds through mature hardwood forest and past rocky outcroppings. Norman applied his "Least Disturbance Approach" throughout, and the 3rd and 4th holes incorporate historic sites that give the course a distinct character. The opening par-4 features memorable island tees, while a four-hole stretch Norman himself dubbed "the hardest mile in golf" provides a stern test at the course's core.
