The Federal Club

Designed by Arnold Palmer, The Federal Club is a private 18-hole, par-72 course in Virginia, United States, stretching to 7,073 yards from the championship tees. The layout runs through hardwoods and wetland alongside the South Anna River, with bentgrass greens and fairways, bluegrass fescue roughs, and a lake in play. Fairway bunkers shape several holes, including the opening hole, which doglegs left with bunkers on either side and a plateaued green guarded by a front flanking bunker. Hole 6 is a par four stretching beyond 480 yards with a sprawling greenside trap covering the entire front edge. Hole 12 runs along the ridgeline above the South Anna River on a slightly uphill par 4. A driving range is available, with hours varying by day. The Federal Grill serves starters, sandwiches, burgers, and salads with weekly dining specials, and a bar and grill rounds out the on-site dining. A Performance Center is also on the property.
