Description
The Dunes at Shenzhou Peninsula (West) sits on the southeastern shore of Hainan Island, China's tropical province, roughly midway between Haikou and Sanya. The course is one half of a 36-hole facility developed by a subsidiary of the CITIC Group, with both courses designed by American architect Tom Weiskopf. The West Course plays 18 holes and shares the property's defining feature with its East counterpart: routing that runs in part along the South China Sea, bringing several holes into direct contact with the area's bays and beaches.
