The Challenge Golf Club

The Challenge Golf Club is a public 18-hole course in Graham, North Carolina, designed by Shape Masters and opened in 1997. It plays to par 72 and stretches 6,828 yards from the championship tees across rolling hills and farmland adjacent to the Haw River. The course holds a Four-Star rating from Golf Digest, was named 2nd Best New Course in North Carolina by the NC Golf Magazine Panel, Best New Public Course of the Piedmont by Carolinas Magazine, and ranked 24th Most Improved Golf Course in America in 2019 by Golf Advisor. It has hosted Mid-Amateur Qualifiers and is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in North Carolina. Practice facilities include a warm-up hitting area, an expansive putting green, and private or group instruction available for players of all abilities. The clubhouse includes a full-service Pro Shop stocked with apparel and equipment, a full bar, and the Hideaway Grill, which serves casual poolside snacks through to grill orders in the main dining area.
