The Cannon Club

The Cannon Club hosted the 2012 Maryland Open and served as a qualifying venue for the Nationwide Tour's Melwood Prince George's County Open in 2007, 2008, and 2009. Designed by Lindsay Ervin and opened in 1990, this private 18-hole course in Maryland rolls across terrain defined by elevation changes and rolling hills, stretching from 4,476 to 6,779 yards. Hole 4 is a par-4 of 342 yards from the back tees, playing to an island green set beyond a tight fairway and ridge. Lessons and clinics are available from the award-winning PGA Head Professional and staff. The fully stocked pro shop carries current equipment and attire. The Cannon Cut Steakhouse Restaurant includes a private dining room with a bar and wood-burning fireplace, along with the Founders Room, which serves signature dishes and a seasonal menu. The Founders Room bar also offers signature cocktails, an extensive wine selection, and regular events including pub nights, karaoke, and trivia. Additional amenities include a 25-meter pool, Har-Tru clay and asphalt tennis courts, pickleball courts, Life Fitness gym equipment, and yoga classes.
