The Burstead Golf Club

The Burstead Golf Club is a semi-private, 18-hole parkland course in Essex, England, designed by Patrick Tallack and opened in 1993. Rated 4.4 by Hole19 golfers, it is one of the most-played courses in England on Hole19. The layout moves through rolling fields, ancient woodland, mature hedgerows, water features, and ditches. The opening hole sets an immediate tone with OOB right and a bunker short left off the tee. Hole 4 is a short Par 3 with a large bunker protecting the front. Practice facilities include a floodlit driving range, a putting green, and a chipping area with practice bunkers. The Bar and Restaurant serves snacks and meals prepared from fresh local produce and can cater for up to 90 golfers for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The bar carries an extensive wine list, lagers, and guest beers.
