We played the PGA National a hour after we finished playing The Brabazon so as you could imagine we had high expectations but boy was we wrong. The layout of the National is really interesting but was majorly let down by the condition of the course. Where The Brabazon tee boxes were flat and perfectly trimmed the PGA National tee boxes were uneven and uncut. The fairways not as nice as the mornings round but the rough was shorter then the Brabazon so was easier to find the ball if we missed the fairway. The greens were great condition and fast! I expected the PGA National to be the same condition as The Brabazon as surely it’s the same green keeping team throughout the resort but I must be wrong.

Fantastic course beautifully looked after very challenging and not very forgiving but had a great weekend at the belfry staff are brilliant and helpfully only think I would of changed was the price of food and drink was a little OTT.
