The course has drawn recognition in Spectator golf writer Garry McKay's list of favourite courses and has been rising in rankings following the Rod Whitman restoration. Practice options include a dedicated all-grass driving range set on a rise beside the clubhouse, with views over St. Andrews-by-the-Sea and the bay, plus a putting green and on-site lessons.
