Tenzan Country Club

Tenzan Country Club is a 36-hole hillside course in Taku, Saga Prefecture, Japan, set amid expansive natural surroundings. The layout is largely flat across the course as a whole, though the fairways feature subtle undulation that keeps approach play interesting. Greens come in two varieties — bent and korai — with the bent greens presenting the greater challenge. On the front nine, the 1st hole opens wide and invites an aggressive line off the tee. The 2nd fairway is exceptionally broad, giving golfers room to swing freely. The back nine introduces more variety: the 14th is the course's most pronounced hole in terms of elevation change, while a pond sitting between the 11th and 17th holes demands careful club and target selection in that stretch.
