Templer Park Country Club

Templer Park Country Club has hosted the Malaysian Open three times — in 1995, 1996, and 2000 — giving this private 18-hole layout in Selangor, Malaysia a tournament record few clubs in the region can match. Designed by Kentaro Sato and opened in 1991, the course stretches from 6,725 to 7,143 yards across flat and undulating terrain, with tree-lined fairways, sand traps, giant lakes, and a jungle area shaping play throughout the round. The club has been recognised as Best Improved Golf Course for 2013 by ParGolf and ranked among the top three clubs in Malaysia in the Golf Magazine Malaysia 2016 Top Ten Golf Poll. Rated 4.7 by 100+ Hole19 golfers, it is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Selangor. Practice options include a driving range, short-game practice facility, and a golf academy. The clubhouse restaurant serves Japanese, Western, and local cuisine, and the facility also includes a hot/cold jacuzzi, sauna, and an onsen within the locker rooms.
