Tarpon Woods Country Club

Tarpon Woods Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 layout in East Lake, Florida, opened in 1971 and designed by Lane Marshall, who also shaped several other courses along Florida's west coast. The course stretches 6,613 yards and borders the Brooker Creek Preserve, meaning alligators, deer, turkey, osprey and other native wildlife are regular sights along the fairways, lakes and creeks. That natural setting adds both challenge and character to a round here. The 7,500-square-foot clubhouse, updated in 2009, includes a Beef 'O' Brady's restaurant and can accommodate up to 100 guests for banquets, meetings and corporate outings. A renovated practice facility offers a driving range with both natural turf and artificial grass hitting areas, and the golf shop is fully stocked by Steve's Wonderful World of Golf.
