Takehara Country Club

Takehara Country Club is a 36-hole layout in Takehara, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan, designed to keep golfers thinking from the first tee to the last putt. Despite the elevation changes between holes, the fairways are laid out with a relatively flat character, giving the course a deceptively approachable feel. Each hole carries its own distinct personality, and the routing demands consistent strategic thinking throughout the round — there is little room to switch off. The greens are bentgrass, presented in a two-green format. Undulation is a defining feature of the putting surfaces, making them among the more challenging aspects of the course.
