Sweet Water Golf Course is a 9-hole, par-36 public course in Pennsylvania, United States, playing to 2,777 yards from the men's tees. A stream, two ponds, and an island green shape the layout. Hole 2 is a 250-yard par 4 where ponds positioned around an enlarged green create an island green effect. Hole 4 stretches to 475 yards as a par 5. Practice options include a 4,500 square foot bent grass putting green with real cups and undulations, open free to the public, plus a chipping area with a practice sand bunker and varied grass heights for bump-and-run shots. Private instruction is available for golfers of any age, alongside junior clinics and golf schools for youth. The Tapped Out Pub features a self-serve beer and wine wall with 30-plus options, measured electrically per ounce. The pro shop handles tee time reservations and club rentals.

Brett IsaacsonJuly 24, 2021Sweetwater is a tucked away, 9 hole course, with narrow fairways and close holes seperated by sparse tree lines. The staff is helpful and kind. Jeff, the owner, is incredibly accommodating and does everything he can to ensure a good experience. Drew, one of the grounds keepers, is always cheerful with a smile or a joke to share. The golf carts are limited and a bit old but walking the course is not bad at all and has become my favorite way of traversing this course. It does get a decent amount of local traffic and water drainage isn't the greatest in some spots so there are some rough patches in some fairways and on a few greens but they are constantly trying to keep up with beautifying the course. All in all the course is fun to play and if you take it for what it is, a shorter 9 hole course, accessible to all skill levels, you won't be disappointed with playing a round or two.
