Swanson Meadows Golf Course

Hole 9 at Swanson Meadows Golf Course climbs uphill all the way to the finish, and hole 2 places water on the left side around 190 yards out to guard the green — two of the more distinctive moments on this 9-hole public layout in Billerica, Massachusetts. Designed by Tim Gerish of Cornish, Silva, & Mungeam, Inc and opened in 2002, the course stretches 2,300 yards across rolling, tree-lined fairways with bent hand-mowed greens, sand traps, water hazards, and wetlands throughout the routing. Hole 3 is rated the hardest on the course for par, and hole 8 is the toughest of the par 3s. A fun, lush practice green is available before the round. The Bar & Restaurant serves ice cold beverages and full meals — the cheeseburger is a club favorite.
