Swanhills Golf Course

Swanhills Golf Course opened in spring 1995 and has since become a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Illinois. Spread across 168 acres of tree-lined terrain, the 18-hole layout rewards accuracy at every turn. A creek winds through the property and comes into play on multiple holes, while three ponds add further risk for wayward shots. Sixteen sand bunkers are scattered throughout, demanding both skill and a degree of luck. The mature trees lining the fairways tighten tee shots considerably, making placement off the tee a consistent priority. The signature 8th hole sits within a stand of trees with the creek running just in front of the tees and along the right side — a precision tee shot is essential. Yardage ranges from 5,083 yards at par 70 from the forward tees to 6,400 yards at par 71, making the course accessible to novice and experienced golfers alike.
