Sutton Creek Golf Club

Sutton Creek Golf Club, a public parkland course in Essex, Ontario, Canada, opened in 1990 and plays to par 72 across 18 holes at 6,700–6,812 yards. The layout is shaped by 60 strategically placed bunkers, seven expansive ponds, and the McLean Drain winding through the course. The course has hosted the Ontario Men's Amateur Championships in 2001 and 2007, the Ontario Senior Men's Amateur Championship in 2005, and the CN Future Links Championship in 2010. Practice options include a driving range with state-of-the-art mat systems, a large putting green suited to lag putts and short downhill sliders, and a short game area with pitching and bunker practice. Professional staff offer customized lessons, and an Operation 36 junior golf program is available. The pro shop is open to the public year-round, carries Callaway, Titleist, and PING equipment, and has certified PGA professionals for club fitting. The clubhouse provides locker room service and a restaurant offering limited items at the turn, with a full menu available from the first week of May.
