Super Golf Country Club Mashiko

Super Golf Country Club Mashiko is an 18-hole hillside course in Ichikai, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. Both the front and back nines open with straightforward holes where the fairways and greens carry minimal undulation, giving players a comfortable start before the difficulty gradually builds. Two holes stand out in particular. The par-4 8th features ponds flanking the tee shot on both sides, with a matching pair of water hazards guarding the left and right approaches to the green. The 15th presents a different kind of challenge: a strip of rough runs down the centre of the fairway from mid-hole, with the ground on either side sitting at different heights, forcing a careful choice off the tee. The green itself is divided into three tiers, making it one of the harder holes on the course.
